During the summer, following the renovation of Cadman Plaza Park’s central portion, the BHA began to sponsor activities in the park, both for the fun of it as well as to spread public awareness about keeping the park looking beautiful. Activities have included weeding, an ice cream social, leaf raking and bulb planting. “It’s My Park Day” on October 20 brought volunteers to Cadman Park to rake, plant tulips and enjoy lunch donated by the Busy Chef. To top off the afternoon, everyone was treated to a lively musical performance by the Deedle Deedle Dees.
